“Since Americans are unwilling to take responsibility for their own health, their employers are doing it for them.” --- Source Unknown
62% of all companies offer some version of wellness services
Employer provided wellness programs are great, but … Many employers offer their employees beneficial services like health screening tests, smoking cessation, weight loss programs, etc., in an attempt to lower health care costs. As vital as these services are, they don’t address employees’ underlying problem. For this reason, too often they serve as mere band aids, not cures to our health care cost crisis.
The underlying problem for most people, especially those with persistent health conditions, is chronic stress. Employers who include stress management programs in their wellness approaches will get far more bang for each buck spent.

Jackie's approach Jackie offers a variety of classes (as short as 2-hours each) to address some of employees’ most common problems that left unaddressed cause on-going stress. Here is a typical line-up of wellness/stress reduction classes she provides:
1. Let Your Body Win: Stress Management Plain and Simple (based on her 2010 published book by the same title); 2. Get Your Priorities Straight; 3. Finding Balance in Turbulent Times; 4. Reduce Stress through Assertive Communication; 5. Motivating Yourself Even When You Don’t Feel Like It;
Jackie tailors these classes to meet an employer’s individual needs. If coping with change is causing your employees stress she can provide a class on “Coping at the Speed of Change.” Tell her what your major stressors are and she can tailor specific classes to deal with them.
